Mitzi's Cafe where my work was hung for the last 12 years |

This street is not a main street, it is totally residential and, as far as I know, there is only one other street like this in Toronto.
It is because of old buildings like this that this neighbourhood became a haven for artists. Old factories have either been bought up and changed into "warehouse" condos or torn down. It is so sad to lose the history. Even inside the old floor boards, joists and staircases exude the past.
Here we are. Just a 10 minute walk from home and so much to see.
Hope your week so far has been a good one.
that was fun
ReplyDeleteThanks for the walk and the commentary. Love that first photo.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see where you live. I have just attended a Lino cut course over here in England, and the lady, Pamela Dodds, came from Toronto. Do you know her? It was a great little course. Thanks for showing us around, like the pooches!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a wonderful neighbourhood.
