A Birthday Weekend

The last of June mornings. Such an amazing weekend we've had with the weather; so "cottage-like" in the mornings. I hope you had a wonderful weekend.

Yesterday was Canada's Birthday. There are Treasuries celebrating it are all over Etsy. This one is nice. I like the quieter mood of it. It was also my daughter's.

Some months ago I was working on an idea of birds on a branch. I still really want to do this but the drawings that I was coming up with back then were never quite what I was after. There is an idea in my head that is more like this very rough sketch. I'll keep playing with it and hopefully have it on a screen soon.
