Flowers, Grandma and Me

I hope your week is going well so far.
And a very Happy July 4th to all 
my American friends!

This is a beautiful decal from an old plate that belonged to my grandmother. She used to work in an antique store in Lithuanian before immigrating to Canada. I wonder if that is where I get my love of vintage? She also was the one in the family who loved to make things and I'm sure that was passed down as well.

 My love of flowers tends to be on the wild side...I first saw Fireweed on a drive to Alaska. There were fields and fields of it along the hi-way through British Columbia and Yukon.
