Desolate
The last couple of days, the morning sky has had streaks of pink running through it. There's bound to be a storm coming. Certainly there was a bad one through the middle of the U.S.A. The odd time Ontario has tornadoes and hurricanes. They say all the unusual weather is the new normal....
For a number of months Art has been working in one of the many industrial neighbourhoods in Toronto. When I first saw it back in February is looked way more desolate than this but I didn't have the camera with me at the time.
There are many back laneways in the inner city. They have a character all their own. And even though they look somewhat derelict, you have to admit there's not a piece of garbage anywhere. "Toronto the clean" has been attributed to this town.
Still, I find the desolate character of some other places more appealing...
