As Long As We're Together

The other morning it was so misty out, blocking all the city "noise" that I would rather not see. As the girls and I went on our morning walk I was able to hear the Chipping Sparrows and, for the first time, a Baltimore Oriole.

Mornings are back to what I prefer: waking up at 4:30 I let the girls out while I make a cup of coffee, then we go up to the studio (I carry Roxy up since her stroke and then go back to get my coffee). Then I read or draw until it's time to go for our long walk. Roxy, since her stroke, is slower than she used to be, of course. But she loves her walks and starts to dance with excitement whenever we go. Sonee  is happy no matter what we do as long as we're together.
