This is a long weekend for Canadians and in Toronto the Caribbean Carnival brought people from all over, as it always does. Colourful, high energy and lots of loud loud music making everyone so happy.
But we attended one of our annual family picnics that day. The girls do relish a road trip; Roxy, seen here, loves staring out the window. The family picnic (this time in Dundas Provincial Park)pulls together four generations and is an opportunity to catch up, eat and play bocce ball. Certainly a quieter pace than what we left behind.
