Winter Design Detail

I know, I know: it's practically summer and I'm thinking of winter. What's with that? Well, if I waited til winter to do these ideas then it would be summer by the time they were ready. So, much like fashion, it becomes necessary to be a season or two ahead of the current one. 

And, to follow the 5 point star (the subject of the last two days), it is in keeping with the geometric pattern-train-of-thought.
