postcards

I didn't get to Bracebridge on the weekend and it's just as well as it sounded like there was some wild storm to drive through on the way back. I do hope that everyone did well though.
Instead, I busied myself making postcards for all the correspondence that I'm anticipating with postcrossings  Above is
Step 1. cut the postcards from 25in. x 30in. heavy stock and prepare the back with ruled lines and rubber stamps.
Step 2. Here you can see the backs. I can't tell which stamp I like best.
Step 3. Print all my silk screened birds (well, not all of them)
Step 4. More rubber stamping.
Step 5. Colour them in and have fun!

I had a request for a postcard from someone in New York and that's what really got me on a roll. At the same time, it's not a bad little project when you find yourself procrastinating about something else (or when you can't go on a road trip).
By the way, the background paper in these photos is from Kid Icarus in Kennsington Market, Toronto.
