Went to the TOAE on the weekend. Because of the renovations going on there the show was about 150 exhibitors smaller. It was noticeable in there were artists there from past years that I didn't see. But on the bright side there were a number of new people I hadn't seen before. Sheila Norgate from out west was new to the show. I really liked her mixed media pieces. I've mentioned her sister, Leslie before, whose work is quite different but just amazing. Michelle Purchase was there after not being able to get in although why I can't imagine.

I must have had a great time (although, abrupt) because I came home and started printing. Still not sure about the turquoise though.
So I ended up making it into a very dark grey which I really liked. Sorry about the blurry image.

  1. What about a tea-stained background with the tourquise? Love the dark grey....Plans for them?

  2. the turquoise with a tea stain would be great if I could figure out how to keep the tea stain from changing the turquoise to muddy green.
But a tea stain with the dark grey would work...
have to think about it a bit more.
As to what I'm doing: I have these great plans for tea towels, place mats and napkins. But I can put them on almost anything.
