Finally, Friday

Leslie Norgate
If you are in Toronto and perhaps looking for a nice place for dinner with special people you might want to try Cowbell. And if you do you'll have the added attraction of seeing Leslie's work. She works with pastels and oils on vellum creating pieces that just move me into another world.

It's been greyish and damp all week, more like April than February (which normally is -10 C.) I have running around to do; picking up supplies as well as finishing the "piles".

Amanda Dilworth "Bees"
I wanted to leave you with this book I found:
It is a collection of surface designs by various artists. There is a second one as well.
The Bees
have such a warm weather feel.

I hope your weekend is a good one.

  2. I love that print of the bees. Out here we broke a record for most snowfall in one day; 13 cm. Have a great weekend.

  3. I love the bees. The colours and shapes are so pretty all together. I feel like I had a dream like this once.
