Working Weekend

Friday was hot, hot, hot until late in the day when a storm blew in from the west. One of those intensive storms when the sky turns grey/green and it's thundering long before any rain. It was suppose to have been comparable to last week's storm, but it wasn't. Instead the temperature dropped and now it feels like a beautiful day in September.

It was definitely a working weekend with printing, cutting, sewing and more printing, all in that order.

In between that I sewed up a lining for an old wire basket I found back in the winter.

Hope you had a good weekend too.

  2. Hot weather good for the tomatoes but not for the firefighters fighting a fire a few miles away. The smell of smoke carried on the breeze blowing through our windows makes us tense and alert. Are we prepared to evacuate? Yes, we are.
