Earl Bales Part 2

Roxy rarely smiles for the camera but being in the long uncut grass sure brought back memories for her. In her younger days she would love to run through the grass, or more accurately, she would bound through it like a deer in order to see where she was going.

This park has an off leash area like I've never seen before. It's huge and is all grass. (The off leash area in our neighbourhood park is covered in crushed brick: we won't go in it).

This charming fellow was so huge and friendly but was way too much dog for Sonee (who's fearful of large dogs) but Roxy paid him no mind. I wasn't too anxious to be slobbered by that tongue!

Towards the end of our walk was a large "wet land" area where the girls had a bit of a drink before we turned around and walked all the way back. That was a good, long walk.
