The last few mornings, before the girls and I go for our walk (while it's still dark), finds me taking out stitches from old fabric pieces. Originally I wanted to use this piece as lining for the tea cozies I've been working on but I've decided against it as the fabric is too heavy. Nevertheless, I work at taking out the stitches (it's quite a long piece) as I know I will find a use for it.
Late last night our youngest came home from a summer out west.
A "bitter/sweet" good-bye as it was
the most amazing summer
anyone could have
wished for.
