Encouraging
On the side of my 1970's something Beaumark is a small label identifying it and where it was made. There is very little information on these machines. I'm guessing that because it was made in Italy and such a long time ago, that it is a well made machine for regular domestic use. I had it serviced shortly after I bought it at a yard sale last year for $5.00 and it has been working beautifully ever since.
After I received the encouraging results of my first of a series of x-rays after having the cast for a week, I decided to see if I could manage a simple finishing task. 3 attempts were made to thread the machine with one hand before I could start but I was able to complete a few pieces; more encouragement.

Cool, Barbara. 3 attempts is normal with my dominant hand.
ReplyDeleteI'm pleased you're feeling encouraged. I remember when you were ambidextrous.
Yes, I constantly remind myself that my right hand has the capability if only it is given the chance. And now it has lots of chances!
