Possibilities

In between seasonal running about, I've been doing a few little experiments. Some embroidery with tapestry wool that I split into two-ply; even so it's a bit thick. But I think it has some possibilities as elements for a larger composition.

Today is one of those special days in our home. There are major arrangements that have been made to celebrate and a crowd of significant personalities that will be in attendance.
