5 Point Star Part 2






Continuing the 5 Point Star from yesterday:

5. By placing the point of the compass on the second vertical line's intersecting point, with the radius still at 2.5in., arc B can be drawn.

6. By measuring the end points of Arc B, the distance between each of the 5 points of the star will be determined.


7. By placing the point of the compass on the upper-most point of the circle, a small arc is drawn. It's intersecting point on the circle (marked by a little red dot) determines one of the five points of the star.


8. By placing the compass point on this new dot, a new arc can be drawn, indicating the placement of the second point of the star.
Continue in this manner until the 4th and 5th points are determined. (see the red dots in the above picture)


9. By connecting every other red dot, the 5 point star will be completed.
