The Start of the Day

Sonee
These last few days of September have been glorious and the weekend was no exception. Walks with the girls have been slow and sedate. So many people stop us to say how "Zen" we appear to be with our slow, not-a-care-in-the-world pace.
It's not really Zen at all.
They girls are busy smelling the previous passers-by and I am actually somewhere up in northern Ontario, (in my head, at least).
The mornings are dark and sometimes cold. I don't mind. We share the park with the robins: small dark shadows with a distinctive silhouette. Most of the time no one else is there except Venus (in the East).
By the time we return, the sun is just about up and the next part of the day begins.
