Yes, he's a bit weird looking; perhaps a little freaky too. But definitely odd. I like odd things.
And yes, the angle of the picture doesn't improve the scary aspect of him; his buggy blue eyes, his frozen smile (if, in fact, that is a smile). But for some strange reason I like him.
This one is way easier to like. As he smiles, his eyes smile too.
Taking out the Christmas decorations is always a little melancholy as each one has some memory attached to it. And each one speaks to when the kids were kids and not all grown up. Although, secretly I think they still have a foot in that other world. Maybe we all do.
