High Park in February

There was one day last week when it was almost spring; temperatures were 14 C. I promised the girls that we'd go to High Park and so we did.

The mallards hang around all winter but they weren't terribly fussy
about seeing the girls. So we went our separate ways.

We were quite fortunate to not only have a warm day, but a sunny one too. The colours were beautiful: the russet oaks leaves and the brilliant blue sky.
