Museum of Nature, Ottawa

Not the Victoria Memorial Museum...The Museum of Nature
Friday November 11th was, of course, Remembrance Day with over 15,000 people at the National War Monument. In Ottawa, Remembrance Day is also a day off work for many. The Signatures Show did not open until after the ceremony, which was noon and, which was very close to the Shaw Centre.

We chose those few hours to go back to the Museum of Nature. Take a look at the moose heads above the front doors.

We were quite surprised to find out that the museum was open and so we took advantage. I had been here once before, so very long ago, but only remembered one of the displays: these Dall Sheep.

I could have stayed in the Bird section so much longer but we were quickly running out of time and had a fair walk ahead of us back to the Shaw Centre and the Signatures Show.
