Cyanotype II

Almost a year ago I had mentioned cyanotype images. The summer has got by me and I didn't ever get to experiment with it. However, a couple of weeks ago I was compelled to buy this gorgeous blue linen without a clue as to what to do with it or print on it. It's a dark, just-before-dawn blue and I knew I couldn't print with just white so I was completely stumped as to what colour to use.

  Rather than a bleached look, it reminds me of the cyanotype that I wanted to do. So I made some wallets  with "my little chickadee" that will be in the shop later on.
