Dancing Bear (Part II)

A little bit further along and I just love how they turned out! Almost like the old glass Christmas ornaments. They will be at   the City of Craft show next Saturday and Sunday at the Great Hall, 1087 Queen St. W., Toronto.
Hope everyone has a wonderful and "productive" weekend.

  1. I love your little dancing bears! What are they cast in? I've cast a few times but I'm not very good at it. In fact we just got a vaccuum caster/investment thing and I find it very intimidating! I have no idea how to use it!
Love your work! I saw your link on bookhou.

  2. Thank you for the kind words. The bear ornament is made of a urethane resin which is cast from a silicone mould. The cast is a gravity pour at room temperature. Hope that answers your question.
