Packaging is such a significant aspect of attracting interest in a product. Usually I am so caught up with the look of the item I'm making and forget totally about presentation. But really, I think it should be seen as a bigger picture, so-to-speak.
For the last few days I've been working on a little "packet"  to hold the coasters I've been making.
I would love to print the image of the coasters on the front cover but I think that will have to wait for another time.

This weekend I will be at the West Elm (click on the link on the right side bar) show along with other Toronto Etsy shop owners. If you're in the neighbourhood why not drop by. I'm looking forward to the weekend as this past week has been quite full. Hope yours is relaxing and sunny.

  1. Have a great show tomorrow.
Sorry I will miss it; we're coming down on Sunday. I have a great book on the Japanese art of Packaging you might recall called "How to Wrap 5 Eggs" that you must see. Love your idea for wrapping coasters-sweet!

  2. I love getting things wrapped in unique packaging! In fact that is why I love wrapping birthday presents. So many people do the gift bag thing nowadays. Your logo sewn on the gift box is such a great idea too.
