Hope you had a good weekend. I spent mine working with a new Natural Dye that I had completed last week. It's pomegranate and logwood. It reminds me of buckskin and WWI khaki. I really love it and hope to do more. But this weekend I made i-pad covers with it and some logwood.
The mottled effect of the dye gives the impression of being under water: that's why I use it with my Right Whale.

ReplyDeleteI've been playing with natural dyes of late; the red onion skins turned my cotton pale yellow but the pomegranate green tea and cinnamon are giving a nice pink. Thanks for the inspiration.
