Back to learning some new things with Photoshop. Again, I have to say, that most people would know how to do this. But I am teaching myself, so in that regard it's new and exciting.
I started with this blue wall paper and then played with the Hue/Saturation (Image}Adjustments)and came up with these:
Then I added some of my work. I still love the eraser and played with that for a while. And then added a reversed image.
For fun, I put in a drop shadow found in the Layers}Layer's Styles and played with that a bit too.
Photoshop's pretty forgiving if you make a mistake. I like how the birds look like they've been meticulously cut out and dropped on the background without being glued down.
Now what I'd really like to learn next is to put in a banner: that would look perfect over the heads of the wrens, I think.

I'm gearing up to teach a photoshop class beginning next week. I can't believe it's the last term of the school year! I loved your Monday mosiac by the way. The little flowers from your dishes reminded me of spring. Oh, and your new flying ship is perfect :)
ReplyDeleteLove the wallpaper especially after you added the two little birds.
