Sewing Machines

1947 Featherweight Singer Sewing Machine

Most of the sewing I do is done with this amazing little machine. It is only 15in. / 38cm. long. But it's  tough and sturdy.  There are some things (probably quite a few things) that it can't do. And even though a have quite a few attachments they seem to be a bit on the clumsy side.

This is the machine I use to finish the edges of certain items. Sadly, I do not have a serger so finishing is done the old fashioned way. But that is in keeping with the vintage influence in my work, I guess.
