A New Year, A New Space and Old Girls

2013

I hope the Holiday was wonderful for you
and here's looking
to an exciting and inspiring

2013

We had a dump of clean white snow while I was putting the studio into a new order.

The new space with my Grandmother's kitchen table and the painting by F. Julia Bach that always hung over her couch will be the beginning of many new drawings (that I've actually already begun).

It also makes a quiet corner for
a cup of tea from my
old teapot and
new owl mug
(a sweet gift from one of my nieces)

The girls and I had a lot of little walks in the neighbourhood. With the salt and slush on the sidewalks, walking has become very difficult making the park too far. The salt, as you know, burns their feet and boots have, unfortunately, proven to be useless .

It's always a thrill
to see
them
come
running to me
