Haliburton Part 1

We are back home from our wonderful working holiday in Haliburton. It was such a beautiful setting too, by Gull River (which looks like a lake). This was where we set up Sparrow Avenue's temporary home.

You can see from the pictures what an ideal day it was: sunny and warm with an easy breeze off the river. My new images were well received and informative and funny conversations about all these animals  were shared.

.

I'd like to thank everyone who came to the show, supporting handmade as well as the wonderful organizers and volunteers of Rails End Gallery and Arts Centre who helped to make the 50th Haliburton Arts and Craft Festival at Head Lake Park so
enjoyable.

After the first day of the show, Art and I had dinner by the shore with this "picture post-card" view.  Pretty good, eh?
Then we drove to our b&b for the evening.

Lots more to show
tomorrow.

  1. It sounds and looks like you had a good time.
And how cool to see my old canopy being put to good use. I hope you did well.
