Incubating

It was a beautiful weekend

with lots of sun

and family

and of course

work

I was thinking about this collage design that was printed onto linen/cotton canvas. The colours are so much more intense than the original. Years ago when I was illustrating children's books I would colour photo copy the original art work to send to the publishers. That was the early days of colour photocopying and the colours could be intensified manually, so much so that the results were quite vivid and "electric". This piece  reminds me of that work. Anyway, I thought it would be nice to try some more. As yet, though, I haven't anything. Just in the incubating stage.
