The mornings have been quite dark these last few days. It has been raining and hovering around freezing which means the trees have been covered in ice.
Although it is quite beautiful, the weight of the ice pulls the branches down causing a fair amount of breaking across sidewalks and roads, not to mention the hydro wires. In other words, it is dangerous.
The girls and I ventured out regardless. It wasn't nearly as slippery as I thought. We weren't the only ones out in it either.
