Re-working drawings becomes an interesting exercise, allowing more familiarity with the subject. The more one draws, the more one sees and understands.. At least, that's the theory. Having said that, I've begun a new one. I think this drawing is stronger than the previous one, but who knows maybe by the time I'm finished, I will find more mistakes...
I do like this one very much. He reminds me of a young fawn who used to come into my backyard and stamp as he slowly approached a bag caught on a branch. His sister didn't follow suit. The males have boxier heads than the females.
