White-throated Sparrow

White-throated Sparrow

Did you have a wonderful weekend?

A little visitor dropped by and we had a bit of a photo session.  This is a White-throated Sparrow, similar in size to the ubiquitous House Sparrow. The patch of yellow by the eye is the clue to its identity otherwise the black stripes might confuse it with the White-crowned Sparrow.



I thought it rather kind of him/her to let me take some pictures. You can click on the images to see them closer.
