Last week a preliminary meeting took place to discuss and make arrangements for help with my work. I never really liked the idea of internship: one party seems to benefit more than the other. That's not really acceptable to me, regardless of whatever justifications are made to make it sound beneficial for both parties. Anyway, we had a great meeting and for a couple of hours the other day we began working together.
It was a good start.

DeleteI was conflicted about accepting help but when I understood that she was really keen to lend a hand (so-to-speak), I relented. Of course it helped to know that she already had some background in this field.
