Moose Drawing Part 2

Here is the moose drawing a little further along. I spent a lot of time studying the anatomy, that is, trying to see through the fur and understand the bone and muscle structure. I had gone to the museum a few years ago but that turned out to be an exercise in frustration. Not only is the moose old and slightly deformed but who knows what distortions the taxidermist may have created?
So forget that. Photos are distortions too but a little more helpful; I have a small collection of those from trips to Algonquin.
