Improptu Visits

As we left the bison there were a couple of others we stopped to have a bit of a "chat" with. This Highland calf was way to sweet to pass without a "how d'you do".

And across the way there was another charming fellow who was definitely vying for our attention by elegantly pacing and staring at us.

Emu was too close to the barrier for a proper full portrait. Nevertheless, I think the misty light 

adds a certain quality to 

Emu's character.

 I really do think

that the mist

enhances a sense of

a long ago time.

Our visit was over far too soon
and we slowly 
wandered 
back.
