Tea Towel Process Part 2

Sparrow Avenue Label

After all the ironing is done, I hem all four sides of the tea towel and attach the Sparrow Avenue label. The little Singer Featherweight is madly sewing. As it is small, so is the bobbin which must be refilled every-so-often. To me this slower process is far more enjoyable than the speed of an industrial machine. I feel more connected to what I am making because of this stop and start process. It gives me time to actually "see" what I am doing.
