Haliburton 2015: Day 1 Part 2

After the show we stayed at the Heritage House B&B in Haliburton, just a 10 minute walk away from the show. But Art picked me up in the truck so we could get some groceries. Actually, he got the groceries and I stayed back with the girls. So many people during the weekend were so taken with the girls.Roxy, being part corgi, not a common breed so much in Ontario, had everyone wrapped around her paw (so-to-speak). What kind of dog is she? How old is she? And they all commented on how well behaved both of them are. Even while we waited for Art to come out of the grocery store, people approached and asked if they could pat the two of them. I am so proud of these girls, these companions of mine!

The apartment we had at Heritage House B&B was also perfect in so many ways: spacious, quiet, beautiful view and a darling little "studio" for Art to work in.

We had a great dinner of kale salad with lots of seeds, dried cranberries and clementines, a very filling couscous salad and chicken. By the time the girls and I went for our evening walk it was too dark to take the camera. So tomorrow morning you will come along with us on our walk...
